Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a person enters a name or case number into a search tool on this website, the query is sent to the provider that operates that tool. That provider processes the request under its own policies. Oregon County Court Docket does not maintain a visitor-side log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us is retained so a response can be made. It is kept within the organization unless disclosure is required by a lawful obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most websites, this service may receive limited technical information when a page is requested.
- IP address and approximate connection data
- Browser, device, and operating-system details
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- Referring website information when it is provided
- Dates and times of page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics tools may help measure traffic, performance, and page use. Browser settings can limit or block cookies, although some page functions may respond differently when they are blocked.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and contact data is used to operate and improve the service.
- Maintain page delivery and site performance
- Route a search request to its selected partner tool
- Understand aggregate page use and technical issues
- Diagnose and address service problems
- Support advertising that may be relevant to visitors
No Court-Record Data on File
Oregon County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of Oregon County case files or personal court-record data. The site provides general routing information for the Missouri Circuit Court system, Missouri Case.net, and the Oregon County Circuit Clerk. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside providers operate the search boxes that appear on some pages. Information submitted into a partner tool is handled under that provider’s privacy policy, retention practices, and terms. Review the provider’s policy before sending a query, because Oregon County Court Docket does not control the provider’s handling of the data.
Links to Other Websites
Official links may lead to Missouri Courts, the Circuit Clerk, statutory pages, city offices, and related services. A visitor who follows a link leaves this website and becomes subject to the destination’s privacy practices. Some advertising providers may also measure activity across sites through their own systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information can be processed by service providers that support the site or where disclosure is lawfully required.
- Search partners that receive a query entered into their tool
- Analytics vendors that measure site traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that serve content on pages
- Government or law-enforcement entities responding to a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable safeguards are used for the information collected through this website. Internet transmission and storage carry risks, however, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If a minor’s information has been provided to us, contact us so it can be addressed.
Your Data Rights
Questions about a court file are different from questions about website data. Missouri’s Sunshine Law, including its public-record policy, and Missouri court access rules such as Court Operating Rule 4 govern access to public records held by public custodians. For data held by this private website, a visitor may ask for access, correction, deletion, or an explanation of applicable processing choices.
- Request a copy of personal information held in connection with a direct communication
- Ask that inaccurate contact information be corrected
- Ask that retained contact information be deleted where no legal duty requires retention
- Ask about choices concerning certain data processing
